    What Benylin Day and Night Tablets do

    Benylin Day and Night Tablets for Cold and Flu help reduce temperature, relieve aches and pains, help clear congestion and so make it easier to nod off at night. Benylin day and night tablets help to clear catarrh.  

    How Benylin Day and Night Tablets work

    Day and Night tablets target cold and flu symptoms including fever, body aches and congestion. The cold and fly day tablets contain paracetamol to help bring down a fever and provide relief from headaches or bodily aches and pains. Also contains pseudoephedrine hydrochloride which is a decongestant that helps clear stuffy noses. The night cold and flu tablets contain paracetamol to help relieve body aches and fever. Also contains diphenhydramine hydrochloride, an antihistamine that helps to relieve a runny nose, whilst pseudoephedrine causes the blood vessels in the nasal and sinus passages to constrict and narrow, reducing congestion and the production of excess mucus.  

    How to use Benylin Day and Night Tablets

    • Swallow the tablets whole with water.
    • Do not chew.
    • Only available online or over the pharmacy counter.
    Benylin Day and Night Tablets Dosage: Adults, the elderly and children 12 years and over. Contains paracetamol – do not use more than one product containing paracetamol at the same time. Day: 1 white tablet every 4 – 6 hours, up to 3 times a day (one tablet in the morning, mid-day and in the afternoon). Night: 1 blue tablet to be taken at night. Do not take more than 3 white tablets a day. Take only 1 tablet at a time and only at the times of days described above. Do not take the night time tablets during the day. Benylin Day and Night Tablets are not suitable for children under 12 years. If your symptoms persist or worsen, you must see a doctor or pharmacist.
