What are Benylin 4 Flu Tablets used for?

Above all, Benylin 4 Flu Tablets are used to help relieve cold and flu symptoms. The tablets contain paracetamol which helps to relieve aches and pains and fever (high temperature).

Also, Diphenhydramine, which is an antihistamine that helps relieve coughing, sneezing and runny nose and pseudoephedrine,
which is a decongestant that helps unblock stuffy noses.

What cause colds and flu?

The common cold is caused by a virus, as is flu. A blocked or runny nose is a common symptom. Additionally, you may loose your sense of smell.

Flu comes on quickly and makes you feel exhausted. You may be too unwell to carry on. In addition it can be serious in the elderly.

How do I treat colds and flu?

Rest, sleep, and keep warm.

Next, drink plenty of water or fruit juice.

Additionally, gargle with salt water.

How do I take Benylin Four Flu Tablets?

For oral use only.

Do not use for children under 10 years old.

Children 10 – 15 years.

Take one tablet, up to 4 times a day.

Side Effects

Benylin 4 Flu Tablets can have side-effects, like all medicines,

QAllergic reactions to other medicines containing
sympathomimetic drugs (stimulants or appetite suppressants

QBecoming unusually tired, unexpected bruising or bleeding
and getting more infections (such as colds) than usual.
These are very rare effects in people taking paracetamol.
QHallucinations and paranoid delusions.
QRarely people can experience fits.
QRarely abnormal blood test results for liver function.

awareness of the heartbeat (palpitations) and high blood

tasks, headache, upset stomach, difficulty in passing urine,
stimulation, blurred vision, dry mouth, thickened mucus.
QRarely: low blood pressure, tremor, shakiness, slurred
speech, dizziness, confusion, depression, blood disorders.
