    Mysimba

Mysimba tablets are a weight loss medication that contains two active substances: naltrexone hydrochloride and bupropion hydrochloride. To be used in obese or overweight adults, Mysimba aims to manage weight when combined with a reduced caloric intake and more physical exercise. Obesity in adults over the age of 18 years of age is defined as a body mass index of greater than or equal to 30 and overweight adults over 18 years of age is defined as a body mass index greater than or equal to 27 and less than 30. Achieving a healthy weight can be a struggle for many people in the UK despite exercising and having a well-balanced calorie-controlled diet. Mysimba is approved for use in patients with an initial body max index of 30 or greater; it can also be given to those with a body mass index between 27 and 30 if they have additional weight-related conditions such as controlled high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes or high levels of lipid in the blood. Mysimba tablets may be discontinued by a doctor after 16 weeks if the patient hasn’t lost at least 5 percent of their initial body weight. Treatment may also be stopped if there is any concern about increased blood pressure, or other concerns regarding the safety and tolerability of this medicine.

    Mysimba Tablets

Unlike Xenical or Orlistat, Mysimba Tablets alter the way you think about food rather than affecting the digestive system directly. Achieving weight loss is often a challenge mentally rather than physically. Mysimba tablets help control the feelings of extreme hunger, stress and the trouble managing portion sizes. Mysimba tablets are the first medication to combine the active ingredients; naltroxene and bulpropion. The two ingredients work by altering the way the brain thinks about food intake and energy balance. This helps control cravings and appetite by controlling the pleasure associated with eating food.
