Cymex Ultra Cream can be used for cold sores, if it’s used at the tingling stage can stop the progression of a cold sore or limit the severity of the infection and Cymex Ultra Cream can speed up healing. You should not use Cymex Ultra Cream if/for:-- You are allergic to any of the ingredients
- If you ever have ever had an allergic reaction to aciclovir, valaciclovir or propylene
- Inside your mouth or nose
- For any other infection than a cold sore
- In the eyes or the genital area
Cymex Ultra Cold Sore Cream
Cymex Ultra Cold Sore Cream should be applied at the first sign of a cold sore such as tingling or itching. Cymex Ultra Cold Sore Cream should be applied liberally to the affected area 5 times a day. Treatment should be continued for 4 days. If your cold sore has not healed after using Cymex Ultra Cold Sore Cream for this amount of time you can use it for up to 10 days in total. If the cold sore gets worse or is no better after 10 days, please contact a doctor. Cymex Ultra Cold Sore Cream should not be shared with other people, even if their symptoms are the same as yours. Whilst using Cymex Ultra Aciclovir there are a few things to remember and that you should not do.- Avoid kissing, especially children. Cold sores in children can be dangerous, find some more information about it

- Avoid breaking blisters or picking sores as this will stop the healing process

Like all medicines Cymex Ultra Aciclovir 5 Cream can cause side effects, although not everybody will experience them. Stop using the medication and tell your doctor if the following happens:-- Allergic reactions- for example swelling of the lips, face and eyelids.
- Mild burning or itching after application, this will go away quickly.
- Redness, itching or a mild flaking or drying of the skin, skin rashes, hives or weals.
