AirPhysio Children

The AirPhysio Children is designed for children to assist in the management of asthma and/or recovery of colds and the flu. The device assists in mucus clearance and lung expansion for children who have suffered from asthma flare-ups or a respiratory condition that has caused a residual build-up of mucus in their lungs, limiting their lung capacity, also called mucus dysfunction.

The Children’s device comes with a low resistance ball bearing for children with respiratory conditions who may have low lung capacity – it is designed for Children aged 3-10 years old.

How does AirPhysio work?

When you exhale through the device, a positive pressure is created in your lungs which will assist in strengthening and lung expansion. This pressure is created, even when the steel ball is not moving. As your lung strength increases, your breath will move the stell ball bearing, lifting it above the cone, breaking the seal between the cone and the ball bearing. The stell ball bearing movement creates an oscillating pressure to assist in vibration of the airways which will further assist to loosen mucus from the airway walls.

How often to use AirPhysio

It is dependent on individual needs however; the majority of customers use it 1–2 times each day for 2-3 minutes. Regular use will help see improvements in time.
