    The Flowflex Antigen Rapid Covid Lateral Flow Test is a quick and easy self-test that detects the presence of COVID-19. Each kit contains everything you need to perform a single test at home – no additional equipment is required. Results are available in as little as 15 minutes, making it a convenient way to check your COVID-19 status when you have symptoms, have been in contact with someone who’s tested positive, or simply want peace of mind. The test involves taking a nose and/or throat swab, placing it into the provided solution, and applying it to the test strip to check for the virus. Please note: From July 2024, Flowflex test kits may have expiry dates of 4 to 6 months.

    Directions

    1. Wash your hands and prepare a clean, flat surface.
    2. Use the swab provided to take a sample from your nose and/or throat (depending on instructions in your kit).
    3. Insert the swab into the pre-filled vial of test solution and mix it thoroughly.
    4. Place a few drops of the solution onto the absorbent pad of the test device.
    5. Leave the test lying flat for 15–30 minutes.
    6. Read the result:
    • One line (C) – Negative
    • Two lines (C & T) – Positive
    • No line at C – Invalid test (repeat with a new kit)
    Dispose of all test materials safely after use.

    Storage information

    Store the test kit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use the test after the expiry date printed on the box. Dispose of used kits according to local waste guidelines.
