It is normal for everybody to lose between 50 and 100 hairs per day without even noticing but whilst this hair will return, some types of hair loss are permanent. Pattern baldness is a type of permanent hair loss which men experience as thinning hair on the scalp, receding hairline and/or balding. This runs in families and can be upsetting. Regaine for Men Extra Strength is aimed at men with hair loss or thinning on top of the scalp who are in the relatively early stages of the balding process. This male pattern baldness solution contains the active ingredient minoxidil which is the only clinically proven treatment that stimulates hair growth. It does this by aiding blood flow to the hair follicles on the scalp, which prevents further hair loss in men and helps hair to regrow. After 2 months of use, you should begin to see new hair growth, and feel like you have gained control over and even reversed your natural balding process.

How does Regaine work?

The active ingredient in Regain is minoxidil which is thought to work by aiding the blood flow to the hair follicles on the scalp.

How do you use Regaine?

Always take this medication as it has been prescribed to you by your doctor or pharmacist.

Regaine for Men is for topical and external use only. It should only be applied directly to the scalp area.

Avoid breathing in the spray whilst applying to the scalp. Do not apply Regaine for Men to areas of the body other than the scalp. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying the solution. Rinse other areas that have come into contact with the solution.

On a completely dry scalp and hair, apply a 1 ml dose to the total affected area twice daily using the best applicator for you. Leave at least 12 hours between each use and do not exceed 2 ml in a day.

How effective is it?

Regaine for Men works best in men with hair loss or thinning at the top of the scalp. Those who are younger, have been losing hair for a short period of time or have a small area of baldness are likely to experience the best results.

You are unlikely to benefit from Regaine for Men  if you have been bald for many years or have a larger area of hair loss.

You may need to use Regaine for Men for 2 months before you see new hair growth.

When you stop using this medicine, the hair that has re-grown may disappear after 3-4 months and the balding / hair loss process will continue.
