You should not take Difflam Ct Throat Lozenges if:- You are allergic to Benzydamine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
- You suffer from a condition known as phenylketonuria. Phenylketonuria is an inborn error of metabolism that results in decreased metabolism of the amino acid phenylalanine.
- You are allergic to salicylic acid or to other anti-inflammatory painkillers called NSAIDs. For example ibuprofen.

You should seek immediate medical attention if you get any sudden swelling in the mouth or throat, difficulty breathing, rash or itching especially affecting the whole body. How to store Difflam 3 mg Lozenges- This medicine should be kept out of the reach of children.
- Do not use Difflam 3 mg Lozenges after the expiry date shown on the label. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
- Do not tore above 30 degrees Celsius.
- In order to protect from moisture, store in the original packaging.
How To Take Difflam Lozenges
The following ‘How to take Difflam Lozenges’ guide is the default recommendations by the manufacturer. If you doctor has given you specific instructions, always take this medication exactly as described. The recommended dose for adults and children over 6 years old: one lozenge 3 times a day. Do not take more than 3 lozenges per day. The use of this medicine in children 6 to 11 years old should be under the supervision of an adult. Children under the age of 6 should not be given Difflam Lozenges.- Each lozenge should be dissolved in the mouth.
- Do not swallow or chew the lozenge.
- Difflam Lozenges should not be used for more than seven days.
