Ovestin Cream contains estriol, a type of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) that helps relieve vaginal symptoms of menopause such as dryness, soreness, or irritation. These symptoms occur when oestrogen levels drop after menopause, and Ovestin works by replacing the oestrogen that the ovaries no longer produce.

    Directions

Always use Ovestin Cream exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as advised by your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist.
    1. Remove the cap from the tube and use the pointed end to pierce the seal.
    2. Attach the applicator to the tube and squeeze the cream until it reaches the red ring mark.
    3. Detach the applicator, replace the tube cap, and insert the applicator gently into the vagina.
    4. Press the plunger fully to release the cream.
The usual dose is 1 applicator (0.5 mg estriol) per day for 2 to 3 weeks (up to 4 weeks if needed), followed by 1 applicator twice a week. Apply the cream using the included applicator, preferably at bedtime.
