    • What is Sons Minoxidil Cutaneous Solution?

Sons Minoxidil 5% Cutaneous Solution is designed for adult men with mild hair loss who are experiencing the early signs of a receding hairline, or hair loss in the crown area (male pattern baldness). Minoxidil can help to prevent further hair loss and even promote some hair regrowth. Sons Minoxidil Cutaneous Solution is suitable for most men aged 18-65 with male-pattern hair loss.

      How it works

It is thought that minoxidil works by acting as a vasodilator, meaning it widens the blood vessels in the areas it’s applied to. This process increases blood flow to the scalp, which can enable more oxygen and nutrients to reach the area and promote hair regrowth.

How to use Sons Minoxidil Cutaneous Solution

You should use Sons Minoxidil 5% Cutaneous Solution twice a day – once in the morning, and once at night. Typically, it takes 6-8 weeks of consistent daily use before you start to see minoxidil working. At first, your hair may appear thin when you first start using minoxidil. but don’t stop using the product yet! This is the ‘shedding’ phase and is actually a sign that your scalp is making way for new, healthier hairs. When you get to the 12-16 week mark, you can expect to start seeing more hair growth. If you’re worried about the progress of your treatment, you can always talk to your doctor or one of our pharmacists. To apply Sons Minoxidil:
      1. Make sure your scalp and hair are dry.
      2. Spray 1ml (10 sprays) onto the areas with receding hair.
      3. Spread the solution across the areas with your fingertips.
      4. Wash your hands thoroughly.
When using Sons Minoxidil, you need to protect the treated areas from sunlight (even when it’s cloudy) and ultraviolet lamps. Make sure to use SPF 50+ or cover up the treated area to avoid any damage.

      Warning

Son’s Minoxidil is only intended for use on the scalp – do not apply it anywhere else on the body. Avoid contact with your eyes, mouth, broken skin, and sensitive areas. If the solution is accidentally applied to any area that isn’t the scalp, rinse it off thoroughly with plenty of water.
