Canesten Athlete’s Foot 1% Cream
This easy-to-use cream has been specially formulated with clotrimazole. An anti-fungal/anti-bacterial medication that treats all types of athlete’s foot without inflammation. The active ingredient clotrimazole is anti-fungal to treat the fungi that causes your athlete’s foot as well as being anti-bacterial to help get rid of the bacteria that can cause your feet to smell. -
What is athlete’s foot?
Athlete’s foot (tinea pedis) is a fungal infection that affects the skin on your feet. It is caused by fungi that thrive in warm and moist environments like changing rooms, showers and public pools. Walking barefoot in these places can put you at greater risk. Athlete’s foot usually occurs between your toes, but it can also affect the soles and sides of your feet.
Symptoms can include:
- Burning or itchy feet and toes
- Scaly, very dry, cracked or peeling feet
- A scaly, red foot rash
- Softening or whitening of the skin between your toes
- Cracked skin between your toes that may bleed
- Smelly feet

How to use Canesten Athlete’s Foot 1% Cream
Apply the cream thinly to the affected area and smooth in gently. Repeat 2-3 times a day for 4 weeks to treat the infection and prevent re-infection. The symptoms of the infection, such as itching or soreness, should improve within a few days of treatment. Signs such as redness and scaling may take longer to disappear. If symptoms do not improve within 7 days, speak with a doctor.
