ZeroBase Emollient Cream helps soothe, soften, and protect dry or irritated skin. Suitable for all ages, it restores moisture, reduces discomfort, and supports natural skin repair. It can be applied throughout the day as needed or used before bathing to help prevent further dryness and irritation. How ZeroBase Emollient Cream works
ZeroBase is an emollient – a moisturising treatment that forms a protective barrier over the surface of the skin. This barrier helps lock in moisture and prevents water loss, keeping the skin hydrated for longer. By protecting damaged areas from everyday irritants such as soap, detergent, or cold weather, it allows the skin to heal and strengthen naturally. Regular use can reduce flare-ups of dry skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis.Directions
Always use this cream exactly as your doctor, pharmacist, or the patient information leaflet instructs. Apply a generous amount to the affected areas as often as required. Smooth it onto the skin gently, following the direction of hair growth, rather than rubbing it in. You can also apply ZeroBase before bathing or showering to stop water and cleansers from drying the skin further.Side effects
ZeroBase Emollient Cream is generally very well tolerated. However, as with all medicines, side effects can occur, although they don’t affect everyone. There are no commonly reported side effects. If you notice irritation, redness, or rash after applying the cream, stop using it and speak to your doctor or pharmacist. You can report any side effects to the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.Serious side effects
Stop using the product and seek emergency medical attention if you experience signs of a severe allergic reaction, such as:- swelling of the face, lips, or throat
- skin rash or hives
- difficulty breathing
- sudden dizziness or loss of consciousness
