They cushion the area to prevent further friction, providing fast relief from discomfort and allowing the blister to heal naturally. [H2] How Compeed Blister Plasters work Compeed plasters use hydrocolloid technology, containing an active gel with moisture-absorbing particles. This helps to:
    • maintain your skin’s natural moisture balance
    • protect the affected area from friction
    • relieve pressure and pain while the skin heals
    The plaster acts like a second skin, keeping the blister clean and reducing rubbing so that healing can happen more comfortably.

    How to use Compeed Blister On Toes Plasters

    • Clean and dry the area around your blister, ensuring there are no oils or creams on the skin.
    • Remove the backing paper and apply the plaster firmly over the blister.
    • Smooth the edges to make sure it sticks securely.
    • Leave the plaster in place until it begins to detach naturally - this can take several days.
    • When removing, don’t pull upwards. Gently stretch the plaster along the skin to lift it off.
    If the blister reappears, you can apply another Compeed plaster until fully healed.

    When not to use Compeed Blister Plasters

    Do not use Compeed plasters if you:
    • are allergic to any of the ingredients listed on the packaging
    • have open wounds or broken skin
    • are diabetic — speak to your doctor or pharmacist before use
