  • What is Aptamil Pepti 1 From Birth?

    Aptamil Pepti 1 From Birth is a nutritionally complete formula milk. It can be used from birth up to one year old. Aptamil Pepti 1 From Birth is made with 100% whey protein and is ideal for babies with an allergy to cow's milk.  

    How to use Aptamil Pepti 1 From Birth

    You should only prepare a feed when needed and give it to your baby as soon as possible. To prepare a feed:
    1. Wash your hands and sterilise all the utensils you’ll be using, according to the manufacturer's instructions.
    2. Fill the kettle with freshly run water and boil it.
    3. Leave it to cool for 30 minutes.
    4. Measure the amount of cooled, boiled water required in the feeding guide into a sterilised bottle.
    5. Add the correct amount of powder to the cooled, boiled water using the scoop provided. Use a clean knife to level off the scoop.
    6. Put the cap on the bottle and shake it thoroughly for 25 seconds.
    7. Remove the cap and replace it with a sterilised teat.
    8. Check the temperature of the feed before giving it to your infant; cool it under a running tap if necessary.
    Once you’ve first used the formula, you shouldn’t keep it for longer than two hours. This product should only be used under medical supervision. Please read the included leaflet carefully before using this product. Warning If your child experiences an allergic reaction after consuming this product, stop using it immediately and speak to your GP or MyPharmacy clinician for advice. For medical services in your area, please refer to https://nhs.uk. Do not heat a feed in the microwave. This can cause hot spots in the formula, which may scald your infant.

    • vitamin D – 1.7ug
    • vitamin E – 1.4mg
    • vitamin K – 4.4ug
    • thiamin – 0.07mg
    • riboflavin – 0.14mg
    • niacin – 0.43mg
    • pantothenic acid – 0.57mg
    • vitamin B6 – 0.045mg
    • vitamin B12 – 0.16ug
    • biotin – 1.9ug
    • folate – 15ug
    • vitamin C – 9.1mg
    This product is not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.  

    How to store Aptamil Pepti 1 From Birth

    Store this product in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not refrigerate this product. Do not use it after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging. Use it within four weeks of opening.  

    When to speak to a doctor or pharmacist

    You should speak to a doctor or one of our pharmacists before giving your child Aptamil Pepti 1 From Birth if they:
    • have an underlying medical problem
    • are taking any other medicine or complementary therapy
    • suffer from any allergies
