  • What is Nutramigen 2 with LGG?

    Nutramigen 2 with LGG is a formula milk designed for infants between six and 12 months with a mild to moderate cow’s milk allergy. It is casein-based, extensively hydrolysed and has been tailored to support weaning. This product can also be used as a substitute for cow's milk in drinks and cooked dishes.  

    How to use Nutramigen 2 with LGG

    Always take Nutramigen 2 With LGG as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor or one of our pharmacists has instructed you to.
    1. Wash your hands thoroughly.
    2. Clean and sterilise the bottle, teat, cap, and any utensils you will use.
    3. Boil fresh water and allow it to cool to a normal temperature. Do not use softened water.
    4. Pour the desired amount into the clean bottle.
    5. Add the desired number of scoops.
    6. Put the cap on the bottle and shake it well until the product dissolves.
    7. Ensure it is at an appropriate temperature for your child by checking it on your wrist.
    8. Feed immediately.
    Once prepared, the formula can spoil quickly. Do not give it to your child if it has been out of the fridge for longer than two hours. If it has been in contact with your infant's mouth, it must be consumed within one hour. You should not store this formula in the fridge for longer than 24 hours and do not freeze it.

    Who can’t have Nutramigen 2 with LGG?

    This product is not recommended for premature and immunocompromised infants, unless directed and supervised by a healthcare provider.  

    When to speak to a doctor or pharmacist

    Speak to your doctor or one of our pharmacists before giving this product to your child if they:
    • have an underlying medical problem
    • are taking any other medicine or complementary therapy
    • suffer from any allergies
    If your child’s symptoms get worse or continue after taking this product, contact one of our pharmacists or your doctor. For medical services in your area, please refer to www.nhs.uk. If your child experiences an allergic reaction after taking this product, stop using it immediately and speak to your GP or one of our pharmacists for advice.  

    How to store Nutramigen 2 with LGG

    Store this product below 25°C in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging.
