  • What is Nutramigen 1 with LGG?

    Nutramigen 1 With LGG is formula milk designed for infants with a mild to moderate cow’s milk allergy. This formula is hydrolysed and hypoallergenic. It can also be used as a sole source of nutrition for 0–6-month-old babies, as part of a weaning diet. You must only use Nutramigen 1 With LGG under the supervision of a healthcare provider.  

    How it works

    The cow’s milk proteins included in Nutramigen 1 With LGG have been broken down into pieces, so your child’s immune system no longer recognises them as harmful.  

    How to use Nutramigen 1 with LGG

    Always take Nutramigen 1 With LGG as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor or one of our pharmacists has instructed you to.
    1. Wash your hands thoroughly.
    2. Clean and sterilise the bottle, teat, cap, and any utensils you will use.
    3. Boil fresh water and allow it to cool to a normal temperature. Do not use softened water.
    4. Pour the desired amount into the clean bottle.
    5. Add the desired number of scoops.
    6. Put the cap on the bottle and shake it well until the product dissolves.
    7. Ensure it is at an appropriate temperature for your child by checking it on your wrist.
    8. Feed immediately.
    Do not freeze the prepared formula.  

    Who can’t have Nutramigen 1 with LGG?

    Do not give this product to your child if they are allergic to any of the ingredients. This product is not recommended for premature infants.  

    When to speak to a doctor or pharmacist

    Speak to your doctor or one of our pharmacists before giving this product to your child if they:
    • have an underlying medical problem
    • are taking any other medicine or complementary therapy
    • suffer from any allergies

    How to store Nutramigen 1 with LGG

    Store this product below 25°C in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging.
