  • What is Aptamil Pepti 2 From Six Months?

    Aptamil Pepti 2 From Six Months is a whey-based formula milk, specifically designed for babies with an allergy to cow’s milk. It is suitable for babies aged six-months and over, and can be used to accompany weaning. This product contains extra calcium, vitamin D, and iron, which can help ensure your baby gets the micronutrients they need if they’re on an elimination diet for a cow’s milk allergy. It also contains galacto- and fructo-oligosaccharides, to help encourage the growth of friendly gut bacteria and reduce the incidence of diarrhoea.  

    How to make up a bottle of Aptamil Pepti 2

    To prepare a bottle of this formula:
    1. Wash your hands.
    2. Sterilise all the utensils you’ll be using.
    3. Fill the kettle with freshly run water and boil it.
    4. Leave it to cool for 30 minutes.
    5. Pour the amount of cooled, boiled water required into a sterilised bottle.
    6. Add the correct amount of powder using the scoop provided. Use a clean knife to level off the scoop.
    7. Put the cap on the bottle and shake it thoroughly for 25 seconds.
    8. Remove the cap and replace it with a sterilised teat. 
    9. Check the temperature of the feed before giving it to your infant.
    10. Do not keep the bottle for more than two hours.
    You should only prepare your baby’s feed when it’s needed and give it to them as soon as possible. This product should only be used under medical supervision. Please read the included leaflet carefully before using this product. Warning If your child experiences an allergic reaction after consuming this product, stop using it immediately and speak to your GP or pharmacist for advice.     How to store Aptamil Pepti 2 From Six Months 

    Store this product in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not refrigerate this product. Do not use this product after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging. Use it within four weeks of opening.
