What are Pantoloc Heartburn Control Tablet used for ?

Do you suffer from Heartburn or indigestion? Pantoloc control tablets are  used for the treatment of symptoms of gastro-oesophageal reflux such as acid regurgitation, heartburn and indigestion. For example indigestion can be caused by rushing meals or pregnancy.

PANTOLOC Control contains the active substance pantoprazole, which blocks the ‘pump’ that produces stomach acid. Hence it reduces the amount of acid in your stomach.
PANTOLOC Control is used for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (for example heartburn, acid
regurgitation) in adults.

Symptoms of indigestion.

You can have symptoms such as Heartburn or feeling full and bloated.Further, you may feel sick and suffer from belching and farting. You may also bring up food or bitter tasting fluids.Do you have stomach ache or back ache? This may be a sign of constipation.

How do you treat indigestion?

You can do a few things to help to prevent indigestion. Loose weight if you are overweight. You could cut down on tea and coffee.

Another cause of heartburn is spicy foods. Try not to eat three or four hours before bed time. Stop smoking.

Additionally, you can use Pepto-Bismol as the leading indigestion treatment. It will relieve your symptoms in a fast and gentle way.

How do you use Pantoloc Heartburn Control Tablets?

The recommended dose is one tablet a day. Do not exceed this recommended dose of 20 mg pantoprazole daily.

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects,
although not everybody gets them.
Tell your doctor immediately or contact the casualty
department at your nearest hospital, if you get any of the
following serious side effects. Stop taking this medicine
straight away, but take this leaflet and/or the tablets
with you.
– Serious allergic reactions (rare: may affect up
to 1 in 1,000 people): Hypersensitivity reactions,
so-called anaphylactic reactions, anaphylactic shock
and angioedema. Typical symptoms are: swelling of
the face, lips, mouth, tongue and/or throat, which
may cause difficulty in swallowing or breathing, hives
(nettle rash), severe dizziness with very fast heartbeat
and heavy sweating.
– Serious skin reactions (frequency not known:
frequency cannot be estimated from the available
data): rash with swelling, blistering or peeling of the
skin, losing skin and bleeding around eyes, nose,
mouth or genitals and rapid deterioration of your
general health, or rash when exposed to the sun
