What are Panadol Actifast Soluble Tablets, used for?

Panadol Actifast Soluble Tablets, are used to treat headaches or back and muscular aches. The tablets absorb quickly and are easy on the stomach. Paracetamol is the active pain killer and should start to work within an hour. Paracetamol treats colds and flu.

Panadol ActiFast Tablets are used for the relief of headache, tension headache, migraine, backache, rheumatic and muscle pain, toothache and period pain. Additionally, they also relieve sore throat and the fever, aches and pains of colds and flu.

The active ingredient is paracetamol which is a painkiller and also reduces your temperature when you have a fever.

How can I reduce pain?

Firstly,Everyday activities, such as walking or gardening can reduce pain. Activity reduces pain by stretching stiff and tense muscles.The benefits of exercise far outweigh any initial discomfort. Next, try to breathe slowly and deeply, this can reduce any panic. Muscles will relax reducing pain. Finally, distract yourself. hobbies and reading are a good way to reduce stress.

Dosage

The tablets should be dissolved in  water. You can use one or two tablets, every four hours

Do not take more than 12 tablets in 24 hours..

Side Effects

Like all medicines, Panadol ActiFast Soluble Tablets can have side effects but
not everybody gets them. A small number of people have had side effects.
Stop taking the medicine and tell your doctor immediately if you experience:
• Allergic reactions which may be severe such as skin rash and itching
sometimes with swelling of the mouth or face or shortness of breath
• Skin rash or peeling, or mouth ulcers
• Breathing problems. These are more likely if you have experienced them
before when taking other painkillers such as ibuprofen and aspirin
• Unexplained bruising or bleeding
• Nausea, sudden weight loss, loss of appetite and yellowing of the eyes
and skin.
