Product Description

What is the use of Aveeno Cream?

Use Aveeno Cream to relieve dry skin conditions such as eczema. The cream contains colloidal oatmeal. Consequently, the oatmeal is used as a moisturizing base to hold glycerin. Glycerin absorbs into the skin which as a result helps retain moisture and ease dry skin.

How do I use Aveeno Cream?

Apply to your skin as often as required. The Aveeno moisturiser cream is applicable for adults, children and babies from 3 months.

The NHS says;

Emollients are moisturising treatments applied directly to the skin to soothe and hydrate it. They cover the skin with a protective film to trap in moisture. The use of emollients are to help manage dry, itchy or scaly skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and ichthyosis.

Is Aveeno Cream safe to use on your face?

Aveeno has a number of products designed specifically for the face. In general, Aveeno is too heavy for the face and may lead to acne breakouts. One exception may be people with severely dry skin and eczema, who may tolerate a cream without developing acne.

If you or your children need to use an emollient regularly, it’s a good idea to keep some in small pots or tubes at home, school or work.”
