Joy Rides (12 Tablets) [P]
Joy-Rides Tablets are taken for the prevention of motion sickness:
The active ingredient is hyoscine hydrobromide which acts on the brain to prevent messages of motion-sickness reaching the stomach.
Joy-Rides chewable fruit flavored tablets:
- Prevent travel sickness
- For children from 3 years and adults
How to use Joy-Rides:
- To be chewed before swallowing
- It is best to take Joy-Rides 20 minutes before you start your journey
- Always read the information on your own product
Joy-Rides tablets dosage:
- Not recommended for children under 3yrs except on medical advice
Age 3-4 Years:
- First dose 1/2 tablet
- Repeat dose in six hours if needed
- Maximum number of Joy-Rides tablets in 24 hours 1
Age 4-7 Years:
- First dose 1 tablet
- Repeat dose in six hours if needed
- Maximum number of Joy-Rides tablets in 24 hours 2
Age 7-12 Years:
- First dose 1-2 tablet
- Repeat dose in six hours if needed
- Maximum number of Joy-Rides tablets in 24 hours 2
Age Adults 13+ & Elderly:
- First dose 2 tablet
- Repeat dose in six hours if needed
- Maximum number of Joy-Rides tablets in 24 hours 4
If you take too many Joy-Rides tablets contact your doctor or casualty department
Each Joy-Rides tablet contains the active ingredient: Hyoscine Hydrobromide 150 micrograms
Also contains: Mannitol, erythrosine E 127, povidone, raspberry flavour, microcrystalline cellulose and magnesium stearate.
Do not take Joy-Rides Tablets if you:
- Have ever had an allergic reaction to hyoscine or to any of the other ingredients
- Have glaucoma (raised pressure in the eye)
Take special care with Joy-Rides Tablets:
- Do not drive or operate machinery if the tablets make you feel drowsy
- Do not drink alcohol while using Joy-Rides Tablets
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Joy-Rides Tablets if you are:
- Taking any prescribed medicines; particularly phenothiazines; tricyclic anti-depressants or medicines for heartburn containing aluminium hydroxide.
- Pregnant or breast feeding
Like all medicines, Joy-Rides Tablets can have side effect, but not everybody gets them: Tell your doctor if you get dry mouth, dizziness, blurred vision or difficulty passing urine.
If you do get any side effects, even those not mentioned, tell your doctor or pharmacist.
