Anadin Paracetamol (16 Tablets)
Anadin Paracetamol tablets are for the effective relief of mild to moderate pain including:
Headache - Migraine - Dental pain - Period pain - Aches and pains - Rheumatic pain - Neuralgia - Feverishness - Cold symptoms - Influenza symptoms - Sore throat.
Paracetamol works by relieving pain and reducing high temperature and fever.
Anadin Paracetamol is gentle on the stomach.
Adults, the elderly and young persons over 12 or over:
Take 2 Anadin Paracetamol Tablets with a drink of water
Repeat every 4 to 6 hours as required
Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours
Children 6 to 12 years of age:
Take 1/2 to 1 tablets with a drink of water
Repeat every 4 to 6 hours as required
- Do not take with any other paracetemol-containing products
- Do not give to children under 6 years of age
- Do not exceed the stated dose.
If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, stop taking this medicine and condult your doctor
Overdose: Taking too many Anadin Paracetamol Tablets may be harmful. Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if you feel well, because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage.
Each tablet also contains: croscarmellose sodium, povidone, pregelatinised maize starch, stearic acid, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (E464), polyethylene glycol.
- You are taking any other products that contain paracetamol
- You are allergic to paracetamol or any of the above ingredients
- You are suffering from kidney or liver disease.
- You are receiving medicines that reduce the clotting of the blood (e.g. warfarin), or any of the following: chloramphenicol, metoclopramide, domperidone and cholestyramine.
- Always ask your pharmacist or doctor whether this medicine is suitable for you if you are taking any other medicines.
- Allergic reactions: difficulty in breathing, skin rash, swollen facial features or a runny nose.
- Blood: Rarely, a severe reduction in the number of white blood cells which makes infections more likely.
- Other rare side effects include change in skin colour, shortness of breath, unusual headaches or unexplained tiredness.
