How to use a Nurofen Period Pain Patch:

• Discreet, slim and odourless, it can be worn under clothes wherever you are, on its own or with oral pain relief medicines, such as Nurofen
• Apply the heat patch to the inside of underwear, over the site of pain. (The non-adhesive side of the patch should he against the skin)
• The patch is held in place by an adhesive, whilst the flexible design allows it to move with your body

• The patch is for external use only
• Use under supervision for girls under 12 years of age

• Open the sachet to activate the patch
• Peel off the protective film
• Apply the patch to the inside of underwear over the site of pain
• The patch will warm up gradually

• Do not lie on the patch or apply pressure during use, e.g. by wearing restrictive clothing. If the patch feels too hot or your skin becomes irritated, remove the patch straight away
• Do not use over the same area of skin for more than 8 hours in any 24 hours

Nurofen Period Pain Patch Precautions:

• Over the same area of skin for more than 8 hours in any 24 hours
• With any other heating device over the same area of skin in the same 24 hours
• Over skin that is bruised, injured, irritated, broken or damaged
• If the wearer is unable to remove the patch
• With medicated creams, lotion, gels or ointments

• Do not stick the adhesive side directly to the skin
• Do not lie on the patch or apply pressure during use, e.g. by wearing restrictive clothing - if the patch feels too hot or your skin becomes irritated, remove the patch straight away   
  

• Have poor circulation, diabetes, arthritis or any other serious medical condition
• Get skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis, or have very sensitive skin
• Are pregnant

• For single use only
• Do not microwave or re-heat the patch
• After use, or if the patch is damaged during use, dispose of it in a waste bin, taking care not to spill any of the contents
• This is not a sanitary pad
