Cancer Information.
Cancer is the second most common cause of death in the UK. It is growing slowly inside many people without them realising it, and it is only when it causes symptoms and is detected that people panic and treat it with the attention that it deserves. Yet cancer is a largely avoidable disease, but this isn't something we concentrate on until we find it happens to us, or someone we love. Our healthcare system tends to concentrate on finding cures for cancer rather than concentrating on prevention.
