Bio-Oil unique formulation has a very low viscosity allowing it to be easily absorbed by the skin while simultaneously forming a light non-greasy protective layer over the skin which helps prevent irritation. How to use Bio-Oil:

Application:

• Apply Bio-Oil twice daily for a minimum of 3 months
• During pregnancy apply twice daily from the first trimester until after birth

Daily facial treatment: Regular Bio-Oil facial massage treatment increases circulation to the skin thereby firming and nourishing it.

All-over body care: Our skin's natural protective oil layer is constantly being stripped away by extremes of weather, frequent hand-washing, bathing and showering and the drying effects of central heating or air conditioning. As we age our skin loses its ability to replenish itself fully; Bio-Oil is especially effective in maintaining this delicate balance. Apply Bio-Oil after bathing, showering, sunbathing or swimming. Massage gently into your skin, paying particular attention to dry or chapped areas.

Scarred skin: Help reduce the appearance of scars, both old and new, by massaging regularly with Bio-Oil. Apply to scar tissue 2 to 3 times daily, massaging gently with the fingertips in a circular motion.

Stretch marks: Help prevent stretch marks during periods of rapid change in body size, such as pregnancy, adolescence and weight loss by regularly massaging Bio-Oil into areas most susceptible to stretch marks.

During pregnancy massage abdomen, hips and upper thighs once or twice daily from the early months of pregnancy. For abdominal massage, apply Bio-Oil all over your abdomen. Using gentle fingertip pressure, massage upwards towards your navel then outwards over your hips. Continue for 5 minutes. Then, working downwards from your navel, gently massage sideways and upwards. Abdominal massage, combined with antenatal and postnatal exercises, will be of great benefit in toning your muscles after delivery.

Intensive treatment: To treat severely dehydrated skin, apply Bio-Oil to the affected area after a warm bath or shower, to encourage absorption.
