Abidec Multivitamin Drops contain seven essential vitamins, and are formulated for use from birth to 12 years old to help prevent vitamin deficiencies and to maintain normal growth and health during the early years of infancy and childhood.

The colour, flavour and smell of the drops is the natural colour, flavour and smell of the vitamins.

Give Abidec Multivitamin Drops as a single daily dose:

Place the drops directly on the back of the tongue using the syringe provided, which is marked at 0.3 ml and 0.6 ml doses.

Children under 1 year: Give 0.3 ml, (higher mark on syringe).

Children aged 1 to 12 years: Give 0.6 ml, (lower mark on syringe).

• Abidec Multivitamin Drops have been specially formulated for babies and children and are not recommended for adults.
• The drops have been carefully formulated to give your child the right amount of each vitamin. Do not exceed the stated dose or give other multivitamin supplements at the same time.
• If you forget to give a dose, give it as soon as you remember unless it is time for the next dose. Do not give two doses at the same time.

Each 0.6 ml of Abidec Multivitamin Drops contains the active ingredients: Retinol (as Vitamin A Palmitate) 1333 IU, Ergocalciferol (VitaminD2) 400 IU, Thiamine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B1) 0.4mg, Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) 0.8mg, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) 0.8mg, Nicotinamide 8mg and Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) 40mg.

Abidec Multivitamin Drops also contain: Sodium hydroxide, sugar (sucrose), polysorbate 60, nitrogen (oxygen free) and water. The Vitamin A in Abidec Multivitamin Drops is dissolved in arachis oil (peanut oil).

• If you are allergic to peanut or soya, do not use Abidec Multivitamin Drops.

The active ingredients in Abidec Multivitamin Drops are all vitamins which are an essential part of the diet.

Side-effects are not anticipated when the drops are given at the correct dosage.

• Care should be taken when giving Abidec Multivitamin Drops to children who have had a reaction to peanuts or peanut oil.
• If you do notice any unusual effect on your child, tell your doctor or pharmacist.

Abidec Multivitamin Drops contain levels of vitamins which present little risk in overdose, if you accidentally give too much, inform your doctor.

Speak to your doctor or pharmacist berore using Abidec Multivitamin Drops if your child has:

• ever had a reaction to Abidec Multivitamin Drops or to any of its ingredients
• ever had a reaction to peanuts, peanut oil or soya
