Hanna Rosin examines the latest information showing how women are becoming more successful than men, in her talk at TED.
The power dynamics between men and women are shifting very rapidly, and in many areas that matter, women are taking control. Women are adapting better than men to the new economic climate as more men than women are affected by the current economic downturn. Currently there are three women graduate from US Colleges for every two men, so they are becoming better educated. This is allowing more women to migrate to the higher paid jobs in the service, creative and information sectors as the middle ground in jobs recede, while more men move to the lower paid manual jobs.
